We will start from the Plaza de la Constitución, one of the busiest points in the city and which connects with the most important street in the city, Marqués de Larios. The reuse of Roman materials for its Islamic construction in 1063, and its later Christian use, have made it the perfect combination of cultures.

We finished the tour talking about the Gibralfaro Castle, another old Muslim fortress in the city that was founded with the intention of protecting the Alcazaba. Its name, Gibralfaro, is due to the lighthouse that originally topped its peak.
