In conclusion, the Jewish quarter of Córdoba is a must-see and fundamental visit to understand the past of the city of the three cultures and how was the relationship between Christians, Jews and Muslims in the capital of Al-Andalus. Enjoy this tour with us.
The Jewish quarter is full of interesting places, and buildings full of history. Starting at the city wall, we will cross the Almodóvar gate to go to the Hospital del Cardenal Salazar, currently the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. We will discover the Chapel of San Bartolomé, a jewel of the Gothic-Mudejar style. On this route we have prepared an appointment with two of the main figures of the Córdoba de las Tres Culturas: Maimonides and Al-Gafequi. The Souk is also an obligatory stop on our tour of the Jewish Quarter, and of course, the old Synagogue of Córdoba, one of the only three preserved in all of Spain. Nor can we finish this route without visiting Calle del Pañuelo and Calle de las Flores. Why are they called like that? What surprise does he have for us?
